Highs & Lows

6am.

Knees have been hurting the past two days. Tried to take it easy yesterday, but accidentally walked 16 miles when I meant to walk 10.

Walked in the rain yesterday for the firs time. Wasn't that bad so long as I kept eating & moving. Had some incredible misty mountian vistas. Really stunning. Like walking around in a Miyazaki cartoon.

Walked my own speed the last two days which has been a game changer.

I simply walked incredibly slow.
It basicly eliminated the need for all the large breaks I was taking. Also, since I was not in pain, or hopelessly out of breath, it was fun walking in the woods again. From here on out, anyone who tells me to 'challenge myself' more or push my body harder can fuck off.
I made it 16mi yesterday moving at a snails pace.

Right now it is raining, and I am sleeping in.
